Bold

I feel bold for even including this image, however can see it working so well as a splash of colour and nature in the home. The beauty and perfection of plants is astonishing, especially when you can get in close and appreciate their detail. This was an image, photographed at Windcliff, in the Pacific Northwest, USA, which I found with a later edit. I love to abstract backgrounds, using a shallow focus, especially when colours complement. Here it’s as though a painter has come in with broad, loose brushstrokes to complete the scene.
