COLOUR

Stone Hill in Central Victoria was my introduction to photographing the work of Australian designer, writer and host, Michael McCoy. I recall him being slightly sceptical if I’d even be able to photograph anything given the weather conditions. But on the first morning, while standing on a ladder, I saw this beautiful scene:  full of colour, the sun breaking through a slight mist. Everything was laid out before me like a master painting. It was one of the finest displays of naturalistic planting I had seen in Australia.
