BALANCE

England's Lake District is one of my favourite landscapes in the UK. After visiting there one January, it quickly became my preferred season. This was a surprise, as winter is a time of year which I'd largely avoided for the past two decades, with my nomadic life migrating between two hemispheres. Taken during a slow sunset walk around the lake, I loved the sense of calm and balance here, as well as the warm tones of foreground grasses, subtly echoed in the clouds.
