ANGEL

I love this plant: the superbly named Angel's Fishing Rod,  (Dierama pulcherrimum). Photographed at the magnificent garden of Dan Hinkley, Windcliff, situated high on a bluff overlooking Puget Sound towards Seattle, it is one of the most beautiful parts of the world. It is magical shooting into the morning light, bringing out the layers, and highlighting even the glistening spider web in the foreground.
